Setting up a credit account - qualifying criteria:
In order for a credit account to be processed and opened as efficiently as possible hpshop.ie will ask for the following: A company may apply for credit if, in business for at least 3 years, have done business with us by pre payment on at least 5 previous occasions. The company must be VAT registered or exempt and a minimum of three trade references for the company must be submitted upon request. Product information
hpshop.ie has gone to great lengths to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the information that accompanies each product. If the information you require is not in the product specification listed online we will, of course, try our best to help you with your query at hpshop@eurieka.ie .
Prices
Pricing is updated daily on all of our products. With constantly changing stock and therefore prices, hpshop.ie has adopted an updating system that ensures that the best price possible is available for our customers.
All pricing can be viewed on hpshop.ie inclusive and exclusive of VAT which is necessary depending on whether you are a business or home user. Due to the changing nature of prices and stock we do not issue price or product lists but both can be viewed 24/7 on the website.
Stock
Stock information on our site is straightforward with each product providing an indication of the number of the particular product currently in stock. We aim only to show products that are currently available to us and ready to ship to you
Ordering
To process orders with hpshop.ie choose the product/s you wish to include in your basket. When you choose a product you can continue to shop or proceed to checkout using a credit card or bank transfer payment option. Under each product, there will be where applicable ‘related products’ i.e. accessories to the product you have selected. To add these to your order simply check the box beside the product or click the ‘Add’ button beside each.
The Basket area also allows you to change the delivery address to one of your choice within the ROI.
Finally, the Basket area will show you your order total before proceeding to ‘Checkout’ to confirm your order.
Changing/cancelling orders
Once an order has been processed it cannot be altered to allow for an increase in product lines or quantities within a line. This is due to the fact that orders for in-stock items go straight into picking upon order confirmation.
Orders that are in the processing phase must be cancelled in writing by submitting an email with the order number to hpshop@eurieka.ie
Customers wishing to add to an order in the same day that the order was placed should open a new order on hpshop.ie and every effort will be made to ensure that where items ordered are in stock that they are part of the initial delivery.

hpshop.ie will at various times have offers on stock and promote these on its website as well as notifying customers who have registered for promotions.

At hpshop.ie we take security very seriously, hpshop.ie is Fully PCI Compliant and adhere to strict security standard laid out by Visa, MasterCard and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This standard has very strict and detailed requirements to everything from the physical locks on our server rooms to the encryption on the pages where credit card information is entered.

This ensures that the person using a credit card actually is the person they claim to be. VAT
Vat is calculated in accordance with Irish Law and shown separately on all of our products and must be paid by the majority of customers; there are, however, some exceptions, these include for example:

Pre-payment of Orders
Bank Transfer:
Pre-payment of goods can be made via funds transfer to hpshop.ie bank a/c. Funds MUST be sent through on the SAME DAY (normal business hours) that the order is requested. This is due to changing prices and stock availability. The details that should appear on the funds transfer are:

Orders will be shipped as soon as payment has cleared into our bank account.
No fee is applied by our company when paying into our bank account, but customers should make sure that all bank charges are paid by the customer. Banks can deduct a fee from incoming payments and it is important that customers pay all related bank charges so that we receive the full amount to our account.
Cheque:
Cheques will not be accepted unless a prior agreement has been made between hpshop.ie and a customer. Generally, no cheques are accepted as payment.
Gift Vouchers:
hpshop.ie currently does not offer payment by way of gift vouchers
WEEE
Irish LegislationThe Irish government implemented the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directive 2002/96/EC in August 2005. From 13 August 2005, all Producers and Distributors (Retailers) of EEE must comply with the WEEE Regulations 2005. The purpose of this Directive is, as a first priority, the prevention of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), and in addition, the reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of such wastes so as to reduce the disposal of waste. It also seeks to improve the environmental performance of all operators involved in the life cycle of electrical and electronic equipment, e.g. producers, distributors and consumers and in particular those operators directly involved in the treatment of waste electrical and electronic equipment.
How does it work?
Consumers from in the Republic of Ireland will be able to return waste electrical and electronic equipment to hpshop.ie free of charge on a one-to-one basis. This means that when purchasing an equivalent product, you can return your old version to us provided it is a like-for-like equivalent or has fulfilled the same function as the newly supplied equipment. For example, you're entitled to send back a television, provided you purchased a comparable new television.
Items you are returning as WEEE must be returned within a maximum of 30 days from the date of delivery

Batteries Regulations
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and waste batteries must never be placed in your waste disposal or recycling bins. WEEE is taken back free of charge at electrical retail outlets on a one-for-one like-for-like basis. There is a bin for medium batteries in your local store. Local authority civic amenity facilities also take back WEEE and waste batteries free of charge. WEEE and waste battery recycling is free.
